NOTICE TO 2011 DONORS  -- (AUGUST THRU OCT. 18TH ONLY)

In accordance with applicable IRS regulations, Heat Up St. Louis, Inc. normally sends written confirmation of each donation within short period (usually within 45 days) indicating the amount and date or year of the donation and other information required for federal income tax purposes. However, due to overwhelming response during this year’s heat wave, some letters for 2011 donations incorrectly listed the year of donation as 2010. For those who made such donations and who want a corrected letter, please e-mail your request to Heat Up St. Louis at info@heatupstlouis.org with your name, address, phone number, date and amount of donation and the method of donation (e.g. credit card, check, etc.). Heat-Up St. Louis will then review its records to confirm the information and if correct a new letter will be sent. However, please be advised that if the information cannot be confirmed for any reason then Heat-Up St. Louis will not be able to comply with your request. In such case, consult with your tax advisor as to the best means of confirming your donation for tax purposes. Thank you for your donations and understanding.”
